I’m really proud that I’ve been able to stay strong.”TheSummer Housestar admitted that his sobriety faced a test right after heended his engagement with Hubbard, 37, this summer and checked into a hotel room.“I had gotten a hotel room the night or the day after or the day of the conversation,” he recalled. “I talked to Lindsay’s father. He said, ‘Take some space.’ And I said, ‘I agree.’““So I got a hotel room that night,” he continued. “I walked into the hotel, the guy saw how disheveled I was from everything that had gone on. He said, ‘What’s going on?’ I said, ‘I’m dealing with something at home.’”A few minutes after Radke got into his hotel room, the hotel employee showed up to his door with a bottle of wine.“That was the strength I had in that moment to just say, ‘No, I can’t,’” Radke said. “I’m proud of that. These are moments where it’s really trying on your mental health [and] sobriety.
