I love the idea of just meat in general and fire and friends and not working.”When Daly does grill, he’ll pair the steak with some of Pinter’s side dishes. “My wife makes an incredible smashed potato,” he says. “It’s a crispy potato that she smashes. There’s garlic and butter and salt and it’s crunchy and great. A great bottle of wine and a nice leafy salad. Who’s got to go to the store? What store are we going to go to get the best ingredients for whatever we’re making? It’s fun.
