Carson Daly and kids make rare appearance at New York Islanders game

On Sunday, the formerThe Voicehost, 50, shared a sweet family photo with wife Siri, son Jackson, 14, and daughters Etta, 11, London, 9, and Goldie, 3, as they attended a New York Islanders game at the UBS Arena in New York.

Daly stood on the left, draping one arm around his son and standing behind his daughters. His wife stood on the other side of his son and had one hand on the couple’s youngest daughter.

In August, Daly’s son Jacksonsat down with LL Cool J to talk about the 50th anniversary of hip-hopon an episode ofNBC Nightly News: Kids Edition.

Later, Jackson looked back at his conversation withNBC Nightly Newsanchor Lester Holt, noting, “He’s intimidating. He’s buff. He’s a big guy. I’m not the biggest.”

“But once I started talking to him, he’s the nicest guy,” the teen shared of LL Cool J. “And he just loves hip-hop, so I’m excited to listen to the new album.”

“It has, it has. I think you have to be the change you wish to see. Is there room for more? Yes, we know that. Is there room to talk about topics? Yes, there is. At the same time, that’s why I made a new record, to make that contribution.”

In the sweetpost, Siri shared several photos, including a recent photo of Shelton, 47, sporting a pink bunny costume while posing with Carson and Siri’s four children and another cute photo of Shelton with Jackson on the set ofThe Voice.

“Sometime around April of 2011, when Carson signed on to host a new singing competition show that felt different than it’s predecessors, we met Blake Shelton,” Siri began her caption. “It was then that the giant, dimpled cowboy with his signature ‘HA!’ became part of our family… for better or for worse. For worse? He likes to take really candid, really ugly photos of you when you’re not looking.”

She continued, “But for better? The list goes on. He is gentle, hilarious, delights my kids, looks you in the eye and listens, loves with his whole heart, eats fried calamari with his whole belly, worships Gwen, and is a true brother to my husband.”
