Diana Ross, Beyoncé,Jennifer Lopezand more entertainment icons have shared the spotlight with their kids over the years, and below, we’ve rounded up the heartwarming proof.
Ralph & Julia Macchio

The dad and daughter duo brought out the best in each other when Julia joinedCobra Kaifor aseason 4 episode. Acting alongside her dad, whoplays Daniel LaRussoinThe Karate Kidfilms and Netflix’s sequel series, Julia shined in her spot as his cousin, Vanessa LaRusso.
“She knocked it out of the park,” Ralph tells PEOPLE in aJanuary issue. “I was the proud father on set that day. As soon as she ran our first take, everybody was like, ‘Holy crap, she’s got this character.’ "
Of the special day on set, Julia echoed that she’s always wanted to follow in her father’s footsteps.
“It’s something that I have wanted to do since as long as I can remember,” she tellsPEOPLEof acting. “I don’t think there was ever really a moment where I thought of doing anything else. I used to act out Disney movies in our house. It was something that was in my blood.”
Jewel & Kase
After the notes closed, Jewel exclaimed, “Aww, honey!” as Kase leaned in for a hug and told his mom that he loved her.

When it came to recording her first-ever holiday album, 2020’sMy Gift, the country star knew she wanted to include someone very special on one of the tracks — her 5-½-year old son, Isaiah Fisher.
“It was so great,” Underwoodtold PEOPLEof singing with her eldest on “Little Drummer Boy.” “When we recorded, I was able to be in the booth with him and encourage him and try to remind him what words were coming up next, things like that.”
“I was laughing, and I was crying, and it was just very overwhelming in a good way. It’s just very emotional,” the mom of two said of listening to his vocals after the studio session.

That early start laid the foundation for Blue Ivy to take home a Grammy at age 9, for her work on the track “Brown Skin Girl.” Mom proudly posted a celebration of her family’s wins that capped off with an adorable shot of Blue drinking out of her Grammy like a sippy cup.

“She has that gene, the gene that’s like I’m comfortable up here,” Lopez told Jimmy Fallon on an episode ofThe Tonight Show. “I think she gets amped, like excited, but like a cute excited, like I wish I felt more like her.”
As the daughter of Lopez and Marc Anthony, a future in the music industry is certainly an option for Emme — but neither of her parents are pushing her in that direction, Lopez toldExtraafter their performance.

These days, it appears the eldest child of Coldplay’s Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow ismore likely to follow in her mom’s fashionable footsteps, but in 2016, the band’s frontmaninvited his kids (Moses, far left, and Apple, third from left) onstage to sing backupon the band’s song “Up&Up”. And yep, proud mom Gwyneth is in the crowd, filming away on her iPhone!

Not only did shebring them all up when she won the Lifetime Achievement Award at the AMAs, but there are multiple photos circulating of the diva and her daughter,black-ishstar Tracee, having a mother/daughter mic-sharing moment.

Alexashowed off her impressive pipes in a duet with her dadat Madison Square Garden in 2019, joining him for a gorgeous performance of his song “New York State of Mind.” She regularly performs and tours solo, too.
