Her physician,Dr. Tara Allen, was quick to explain that although it was an injection, it wasn’t like Botox, which can sometimes be used for “overactive bladders.” Dr. Allen explained, “This is for the cough, laugh, sneeze leakage.”

“Wow, leaky leaky, that’s me,” the former U.S. Marine replied.

“It is 98% water, it’s about 2% of the scaffolding that keeps the water droplets from absorbing,” she continued.

Althoughthe Mayo Clinicpoints out that the injections are not permanent and often not as successful as a sling surgery, “they’re less invasive and offer faster recovery.”

And from what Oprea experienced, the effects were immediate.

“30 minute jumprope complete and no peeeeeeee. This is going to change my life forever,” she shared.

“Who thinks they might go talk to your dr about this procedure???” Opera asked on Instagram, adding that the reason she decided to share her procedure was because “I know soooo many women struggle with the same thing so that’s why I’m sharing it all!”
