Chadwick Bosemanis the latest star to have a viral moment fromSunday’s 91st annual Academy Awards.
The 41-year-old actor — who ledBlack Panther, one of the films competing for Best Picture — was caught on camera turning his head to make eye contact with his costar Michael B. Jordan, just moments afterGreen Bookwas announced as the winner of the Oscar’s top prize.
Boseman hasn’t responded to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
“When you’re disappointed but not surprised,” said writer Matthew Cherry.
“Chadwick Boseman is all of us when Green Book was announced as Best Picture,” another critic tweeted.
After its release in November, Dr. Shirley’s family first criticized the movie, with his brotherMaurice calling ita “symphony of lies.”
