Simone Ledward Bosemanis honoring late husbandChadwick Bosemanon his birthday.
On Wednesday, the singer shared two throwback photos of herself with Boseman on Instagram to mark what would have been the late actor’s 47th birthday.
“when i talk to God, i thank him for the time. happy birthday, angel 💜,” Simonewrotein the caption.
Boseman’sBlack PanthercostarLupita Nyong’o also honored him for his birthday, writing on Instagram: “Marking the birthday of a heroic friend. I am blessed that his time on this earth coincided with mine.”
The actordiedof colon cancer in August 2020 at age 43. He had been diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016 and kept it private for four years as it progressed to stage IV.

The artist added that Boseman “changed my life.”
“Knowing him and loving him changed my life. Losing him changed my life. I think that ‘sahn’ is how I move forward, how I forge a path that is my own,” she explained.
