Chanel ImanandDavon Godchauxare married!
The model, 33, and the New England Patriots defensive tackle, 29, have tied the knot. They shared the happy news on Tuesday via ajoint Instagram postwhich featured video highlights of their glamorous nuptials.
“A moment we both been waiting for,” they captioned the post.
Iman and Godchaux also shared details of their special day withVogue, telling the magazine that they officially married in a civil ceremony in New York on Jan. 10 before eloping on a yacht in the Caribbean Sea on Feb. 24.
“This was our ideal, dream day. A handful of people attended the wedding — including my best friend and soul sister, Heidy De la Rosa — and we chartered a yacht to sail from island to island in the Caribbean Sea,” Iman said.
She chose a Zuhair Murad gown detailed with off-the-shoulder straps, an embellished bodice and a tulle skirt. “I am so thankful to his team for making it happen for me,” she toldVogueof the Lebanese designer, whose work she has long admired. “Season after season, I lust over his gowns.”
After exchanging Brilliant Earth rings during a ceremony in Anguilla, the newlyweds and their small circle of guests disembarked to do a little island shopping.
“There were a lot of emotions on the day of the wedding,” Iman recalled. “We laughed, we cried, we danced — and made incredible memories together. The trip actually moved us and inspired us to do this annually with our family.”
The group then sailed to St. Barths, where they spent the night dancing. “We celebrated for three days on our charter — island hopping and making stops at beach clubs, where it all started,” Iman toldVogue.
The wedding-at-sea festivities capped off with a honeymoon at Cap Juluca.
The couple — who made theirrelationship Instagram officialin April 2022 —announced their engagementin May 2023 in ajoint Instagram postthat featured photos from the romantic proposal. The athlete popped the question during a trip to Capri, Italy, getting down on one knee with a sweeping sea view as the backdrop.
He presented Iman with a dazzling engagement ring featuring a rectangular diamond on a single band, which she showed off in the photos.
“The blessings keep pouring, grateful for this new chapter and soon to be married and a forever to go ♾️📍Capri , Italy 🇮🇹 💍💎,” the pair captioned the post.

In a follow-upInstagram postreflecting on the happy moment, Godchaux admitted that he was “nervous as hell” leading up to the proposal.
“I never thought I’ll be getting down on one knee but LOVE will make you do some amazing things in life!” he wrote to his followers before paying tribute to Iman.

“Our family is growing and we are so excited to meet our new little one 👼🏽,” they wrote at the time, alongside photos from a maternity shoot.
The family of six posed for afestive portrait for Christmas, with the girls wearing coordinating red plaid outfits and their brother complementing them in a red sweater. Iman also posteda photowith her three daughters, calling her family “The best gift of all.”
