Kelsea BalleriniandChase Stokesare all loved up heading into 2025.
On Tuesday, Dec. 31, theOuter Banksactor celebrated the New Year with a photo of himself and Ballerini snuggled up together.
In theInstagram picture, Ballerini wrapped her arm around Stokes from behind, resting her chin on his shoulder. Stokes, 32, turned his face toward her’s, smiling.
“2024 thanks for being done,” captioned Stokes.
Ballerini shared her own shots on Wednesday, Jan. 1,captioning a sunset photoof the two, “Grateful to be on this floating rock for another year.”
The “Sorry Mom” singer shared photos from their Thanksgiving together in November 2024, which Ballerini hosted in her Nashville home.
Ballerini — who hosted fellow country starKenny Chesney, her mom and a group of friends that included Alysa Vanderheym — shared 15 photos from her turkey day and the rowdy karaoke that ended the night.
Ballerini’s post included a sweet photo of Stokes hugging her from behind as she showed off her first-ever turkey and a group shot of Ballerini, Stokes, Vanderheym and another friend cuddled up on the couch withher dog, Dibs, getting in on the action.
Meanwhile, during a recent appearance onThe Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Ballerinishared a story she’s “never told” beforeabout a sweet interaction she witnessed between Stokes and a fan in 2021.

“I was on a flight, it was like a 5 a.m.-er, ungodly hour. I was getting ready to fall asleep and there was this young girl who came up to the person sitting behind me and was just, like, freaking out, like fangirling,” Ballerini recalled. “And I heard him be so lovely to her and give her so much time and attention and intention at, like, 5 a.m.”
“I turned around and I just, like, looked through the hole in my seat, and it was Chase,” she said. “I hadn’t seen [Outer Banks], but I don’t live under the rock, so I knew him. And we were obviously in very different phases of life… We never met, never said hello, but I just tucked that away as like, wow, what a good thing to witness.”
“It was just a beautiful thing to see,” the singer added of the sweet interaction.
In October, Ballerini, who recentlyreleased her fifth studio albumPatterns,confirmedshe and Stokes had moved in together after she sang about it in her song “Baggage.”
