The comedian, 48, posted a picture of herself planting a kiss on the smiling man’s cheek on her Instagram Story Wednesday.
Later that day, though, Handler clarified that she was in fact not confirming a hot new romance and the man was actually a bartender near her house in Spain.

Handler also confirmed in a prior Story that she had landed back in the U.S. and her “vacation is over.”
The star’s last relationship was with actor and comedianJo Koy. The former couplesplitin July 2022 after 11 months of dating.

In December, Handler opened up about her“difficult” splitfrom Koy, 52, onBrooke Shields’Now What?podcast.
“I really believed that this was my guy,” she said. “I thought, ‘Oh my God, I won.’ Like I got everything. I have my career, I have respect, I have my family, I have so many friends, I have all of these things. And then I thought this was gonna be the person I spend my life with.”
“Towards the end of the relationship, it just became clear that this was not my person,” Handler added. “There were just some behaviors that we couldn’t agree on… It felt to me like I would have to abandon myself, which maybe I would have been OK to do if I were 20 or 25, but I wasn’t willing to do that. No matter how much I loved this person — and I loved him so much — I was not going to abandon myself.”
