Chelsea Lazkani’s husbandJeff Lazkanihas responded to her divorce filing.
In awritten declaration filed with the court, Jeff accused Chelsea of “exhibiting suspicious behavior,” claiming that many of his “personal belongings” have disappeared or were taken from their Manhattan Beach, Calif. home after Chelsea, 31,filed for divorcelast month.
He alleged in the declaration that theSelling Sunsetstar “struck” him “in the face in an aggressive manner, breaking his glasses and causing a small cut on the side of his face.”
He also claimed that for the wellbeing of their children, they both should not reside at their Manhattan Beach home, which Jeff pointed out he is the primary owner of, additionally alleging that she “provokes” him and “records him in an attempt to catch him overreacting to her.”
PEOPLE reached out to a rep and attorney for Chelsea, and Jeff’s attorney but did not immediately hear back.
The two, who married on Aug. 12, 2017, share son Maddox Ali, 5, and daughter Melia Iman, 3.
In his written declaration, Jeff accused the reality star of being “physically aggressive” before and after she filed for divorce, and alleged that she “installed a lock on the primary bedroom to” his “exclusion, remotely monitors his access to the property, and records him at the property.”
He asked for “exclusive use and possession of” the five-bedroom home, which they purchased for $2.9 million in 2018. (Jeff said he believes it’s now worth $4.2 million, adding that he has a $2.1 million separate property reimbursement claim on the property after using that toward a down payment.)
In the filing, Jeff went on to claim that he was “stunned” after finding out about the divorce via a text message from TMZ. He later alleged that he found out Chelsea allegedly opened a separate bank account around the time she filed. He claimed in his written declaration that after learning of her filing, he immediately sent Chelsea a text message but she didn’t respond. That same day, Chelsea’s brother also started sleeping at the Manhattan Beach home without telling Jeff, he alleged. Jeff claimed that the last time he slept in the home was the day he found out about the divorce.

He requested that Chelsea, who he said is not named on the mortgage, have 48 hours to get what she needs from that property, and not be allowed inside for more than two hours to gather her belongings. He wanted “a neutral party” to be there to help them divvy up items that they may dispute over.
Jeff claimed in the written declarationthat he is “already paying and agrees to continue to pay the mortgage, utilities, and any other encumbrances” on the home. He alleged that he hasn’t slept in the primary bedroom with Chelsea since shortly after welcoming Maddox due to “post-pregnancy discomforts and sleep schedules.” He said that he expressed interest in moving back into the room, but claimed Chelsea “refused” after being “accustomed to her own sleep space.”

He also attached text messages that he appears to have sent Chelsea, calling her out for filing for divorce without telling him, asking her where the spare key to his Jeep is, and why she tried to enter his room after “avoiding me since yesterday.” Chelsea did not appear to respond to any of his texts.
Jeff did not make any requests concerning child support in his response. He also wants him and Chelsea to cover their own attorney fees.
Jeff noted that he does not want the court to award spousal support to him or Chelsea, and said that he still needs to sort out his own property assets and debt he acquired before their marriage and after their separation. Ultimately, he wants them to be separated from his estranged wife.
