The legendary singer, 78, stepped out with boyfriendAlexander “AE” Edwardsfor the festivities in New York City on Sunday, Feb. 16, with the pairwalking the carpetin matching black ensembles.
Cher, who wore a long, satin gown with rhinestone appliqués along a plunging sweetheart neckline, nuzzled up to Edwards, 39, as they posed for photos together. She also donned a black fuzzy shawl and a blonde, beehive-style updo.
Later in the night, Cher was spotted in theSNLaudiencesitting next to Kevin Costner.
The outing came two days after Cher performed her hit “If I Could Turn Back Time” atSNL50: The Homecoming Concert, which took place at Radio City Music Hall on Feb. 14. Other performers includedLady Gaga,Miley Cyrus,Snoop DoggandThe Backstreet Boys.

She and Edwards, a music executive, have been linked since November 2022 after meeting at Paris Fashion Week.
She opened up to PEOPLE about their relationship in October 2023, saying she’d learned it wasnever too late to find love.
“I hate when people say people are special, but lots of people say I’m special, so I can say that he’s special," she said. “No matter what happens, I love being with him. He makes me laugh, and we have fun. What I learned is that it’s never too late. If you wrote out all the statistics, you would go, ‘Well, this is doomed.’ But we’ve been together a year, and if it was just a year, it would’ve been worth it. I’ve had the best time.”
Several months later, she revealed that she’d brokentwo of her most important ruleswhen she first met Edward.

Edwards has been an avid supporter of Cher over the last few years, and in October,brought his 5-year-old son Slashwith him to cheer her on when she was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
He was also on hand at theVictoria’s Secret Fashion Showthat same month, where Cher sang “Believe” and “Strong Enough.”
