Cherisn’t mincing words when it comes to her snub from theRock & Roll Hall of Fame.

The music legend appeared on an episode ofThe Kelly Clarkson Showthat aired Friday where she vented about her exclusion from the prestigious museum in Cleveland, Ohio.

“You know what, I wouldn’t be in it now if they gave me a million dollars,” Cher, 77, told hostKelly Clarkson. “I’m never going to change my mind.”

“They can just go you-know-what themselves,” she added.

PEOPLE reached out to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for comment, but for her part, Clarkson was shocked to hear of Cher’s exclusion. “Wait, are you serious?” the 41-year-old singer asked Cher, as members of the studio audience gasped. “That is brand new information for me.”

“I’m not… kidding you,” said Cher. “I was about to say something else. I was about to say s—ting you!”

Cher made history this month as the first female artist to have a No. 1 song for the past seven decades straight, with her holiday single, “DJ Play a Christmas Song,” toppingBillboard’s Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales chart.

Joining her in that milestone landmark are the Rolling Stones, who have also had at least one new No. 1 on theBillboardcharts every decade between the 1960s and 2020s.

“It took four of them to be one of me,” she joked to Clarkson on Friday’s episode.

She went on to note that “I changed music forever with ‘Believe’” — referencing her 1998 smash hit. The song, one of the best-selling singles in music history, is known for pioneering the use of Auto-Tune, which is widely used in the industry today.

In 1989, Cher had two No. 1s with “If I Could Turn Back Time” and “After All,” her duet with Peter Cetera. Hits “Song for the Lonely,” “A Different Kind of Love Song,” and “When the Money’s Gone,” also all reached the milestone in the 2000s, while “You Haven’t Seen the Last of Me” and “Woman’s World,” triumphed in 2011 and 2013.

“DJ Play a Christmas Song” comes from Cher’sfirst Christmas album, aptly titledChristmas, which was released on Oct. 20.

Clarkson loves the song, comparing its vibe to “Believe.” She told Cher: “No one has that sound. I almost think if someone sent me that song for my Christmas record, [I’d be like] ‘I don’t know if I could pull this off.’ It’s so you. The sound is so Cher. It’s so incredible. I love it so much.”

“I’m going to say it, fight me on it — [this] is this greatest Christmas song to come out since ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You,'” she told Cher. “It’s the greatest contemporary Christmas song to come out. I love it so much. It makes me so happy.”

She went on to tell Cher that she’s sent videos of herself singing the song toBlake SheltonandNiall Horan. “I’ve hit them up so much with videos of me just singing your song,” she says. “It’s so good!”

Back in October, Cher opened up to PEOPLE about making the album.

“I wanted to make a Cher Christmas album,” the star said at the time. “But I didn’t know how to do it. I never could figure out a way. Then this year, I just asked the record company if they would just let me do it — and just hand the finished product over to them — and they were agreeable, so I started picking songs."

The Kelly Clarkson Showairs weekdays on NBC in syndication (check local listings).
