Marieangela King, the estranged wife ofCher’s sonElijah Blue Allman, claims that the superstar is interfering with an agreement the two made to work on their marriage.

King states in the declaration that after agreeing on April 21 to keep their divorce proceedings in a “six-month stay in discovery and litigation,” Allman — who was living with her at the time — “disappeared” and she has “not seen him in person since the end of April.”

“It seems as though he has wasted my time, and this Courts time,” the frontwoman of the band King states.

King also states that because of Allman’s “lack of effort into working out [their] marriage,” she is requesting he pay her legal fees and continued spousal support, in addition to the $40,000 in spousal support that she alleges he still owes her.

In the documents, King also requests Cher and Allman return her car, which she was told she could keep, and is currently located at the singer’s Malibu home that she no longer has access to. She also requests access to a storage unit housing some of her personal belongings, furniture and clothing, and “the deed for four pieces of artwork ofMichael Jackson.”

King alleges the Grammy winner removed the deed to artwork of Jackson, titledSEXY Suite, from her room while she was in New York City performing at a 9/11 benefit in 2021.

“I am also requesting more time to conduct discovery on Petitioner’s bank accounts as I believe Petitioner has moved money out of his accounts within the last few years,” King states in the filing. “I would also like to conduct discovery of Petitioner’s health records as Petitioner’s mother continues to interfere with his health management as well as his location and accessibility.”

A rep for Cher could not be reached for comment on the allegations.

King’s Oct. 25 declaration comes one month after documents surfaced that revealed sheaccused Cher of hiring four men to kidnap her sonin aform of interventionon Nov. 30, 2022. In the documents that were filed on Dec. 5, 2022 and gained recent attention due to the ongoing divorce case, she alleged that the singer orchestrated her son to be removed from the hotel that he and his estranged wife were sharing as they tried to “reconcile” their marriage.

Cher spoke to PEOPLE in early Octoberabout the allegationsinvolving hersecond and youngest son, whom she welcomed on July 10, 1976 with the lateGregg Allmanof The Allman Brothers Band.

Cher said “that rumor is not true” and declined to comment further, but confirmed that the private family matter is related to her son’s addiction issues.

“I’m not suffering from any problem that millions of people in the United States aren’t,” she said of watching her son’s yearslong struggles with substance abuse. “I’m a mother. This is my job — one way or another, to try to help my children. You do anything for your children. Whenever you can help them, you just do it because that’s what being a mother is. But it’s joy, even with heartache — mostly, when you think of your children, you just smile and you love them, and you try to be there for them.”

Cher recently released her first-ever holiday album,Christmas, on Oct. 20.
