CherylandLiam Payne’s little guy loves having famous parents!
While in conversation withBritish Vogueabout a Girls Aloud reunion, the singer, 40, also opened up about her 6-year-old son,Bear Grey, whom she shares with Payne, 30.
“I don’t want people recognizing him on the street,” she continued. “But he’s twigged that I’m famous.”
Added Cheryl, “The other day he said, ‘How lucky am I to have famous parents?’ I said, ‘It doesn’t matter.' He goes: ‘Yeah. The new parents announced his birth a few days later with a Polaroid shot of Payne cradling his son, which they both posted onInstagram.
“I’m completely in awe of his incredible mother and how she has been the whole way through this, she’s really made my dreams come true,” he added of Cheryl. “We haven’t named him yet but he’s already capturing hearts including mine. I feel very blessed.”

Though Payne and Cherylsplitin July 2018, the pair have worked together as co-parents to raise their son together.“I see him two times a week, three times a week sometimes,” Payne said of Bear in 2022. “And I make sure when I see him, he has100 percent of my time. I make sure that I’m not on my phone or dicking around somewhere else.““So, I like to give him those moments and it’s important, he needs that in his life, he needs his dad in his life, and I’m happy he looks at me like a superhero, and I’m hoping to keep it that way,” he added.Back in July, Payne posted avideo on YouTubein which he revealed that he had been sober for nearly six months after spending time in a rehab facility. In the clip, he thanked Bear and Cheryl “for giving me a little bit of freedom to go and get well,” adding that “there’s no point in trying to be a dad when you’ve got nothing to teach.”
The pop star also praised his son’s intelligence in the clip, stating, “He’s learning very quickly, he’s far smarter than I think I’ll ever be. He’s a wonder and he’s definitely learning to talk at this moment, and it’s a lot of fun to be around and watch him grow.”
