Chick-fil-A
Chick-fil-Ahas a zesty start to 2025.
The chicken nugget chain is bringing back a citrusy fan-favorite item on Tuesday, Jan. 7: the Key Lime Frosted Lemonade.
The drink was first introduced back in 2019 as a limited-time item. It blendsChick-fil-Alemonade (regular or diet) with vanilla soft-serve ice cream and key lime flavor. The milkshake-like drink hasn’t been available since its launch.
New to the fast food joint is the Key Lime Lemonade. This iteration has the same regular or diet lemonade base and Key Lime flavor but omits the Icedream addition.
Chick-fil-A also has a savory tangy returning item on Jan. 7 — the Grilled Spicy Deluxe Sandwich is back.

Starbucks is rolling out some new itemsin early January, too. On Friday, Jan. 3, the coffee chain is releasing three brand-new, permanent menu items: cortado, Brown Sugar Oatmilk Cortado and Spicy Falafel Pocket.
Cortado is an espresso-based drink originally from Spain that combines shots of espresso and steamed milk. Compared to lattes and cappuccinos, which have espresso, steamed milk and milk foam, cortados are more coffee-forward.

Starbucks' cortado combines three ristretto shots of blonde espresso and steamed dairy or non-dairy milk. The Brown Sugar Oatmilk Cortado uses the same method as the original iteration but uses steamed oat milk and adds brown sugar syrup and a dash of cinnamon.
Both cortados are only available hot and in an 8-oz. cup, also known as short size.
The vegan Spicy Falafel Pocket combines smashed falafel, hummus, roasted red peppers, pickled onions and a spicy herb sauce inside a lavash flatbread.
