Starting on Wednesday, many Catholics will stop eatingmeat and meat productson certain days until the end of Lent (which is Easter Sunday, April 21.) Chick-fil-A knows that it’s going to be tough giving uptheir fried chicken goodnessduring this period, so they’re providing Lent observers with an alternative: Chick-fil-A fish sandwiches and fillets.

Since fish and shellfish are not considered meat and can therefore be eaten during Lent, Chick-fil-A has been putting this spin on theirclassic chicken sandwiches and tendersevery Easter season since 2015. Many fans have even come to look forward to this time of year for thelimited-time-onlypescatarian offerings—which are only available from March 6 to April 20 this year.

Because you won’t find the fish options on the Chick-fil-A website or app, the company suggests you call your local store to make sure they’re offering the entrees. And for those not observing Lent, don’t fret: Chick-fil-A will still be serving up the same chicken sandwiches and nuggets that you know and love, of course.
