Amelia Dimoldenbergdidn’t reunite with Andrew Garfield at the2025 Oscarsbut she did share a cute moment with his girlfriend,Monica Barbaro.
“I heard we have something in common,” Dimoldenberg teased as Barbaro looked a bit flustered and asked, “What?”
While some fans speculated Dimoldenberg was trying to subtly bring up Garfield, who has beenquietly datingBarbaro, she quipped, “Was your first foray into theater, [Shakespeare’s]A Midsummer Night’s Dream?”
Barbaro then responded with an excited “yes” before Dimoldenberg confirmed it was also the first show she ever starred in as well.
Barbaro — who was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in theBob DylanbiopicA Complete Unknown—kept the bit going as she cheekily responded, “That’s what I thought you were going to say,” before she asked theChicken Shop Datehost which role she played.
“I played an elf… no sorry I played a fairy,” Dimoldenberg clarified, which made Barbaro laugh as she noted, “I don’t think that’sA Midsummer Night’s Dream.”

In an interview withThe New Yorkeron Feb. 24,Dimoldenberg confirmed she’s singleand noted she didn’t think a relationship with Garfield is “going to happen… otherwise I would be going out with him already.”
“I loved that you could feel there was some sincerity there,” she said of their viralChicken Shop Dateepisode where they put their flirty banter on full display.“I was being real. He’s an actor, so I didn’t know what was going through his head. But I was being somewhat true. And afterward, it was, like, ‘People are really liking this, actually.’ ”
That same month, PEOPLE confirmed Garfield and Barbaro were dating as a source revealed, “They’ve been really lowkey and have been spending time together quietly.”
