The couple spent New Year’s Eve in New York City, where they rang in 2025 with a kiss and shared a video of the countdown in Times Square in ajoint Instagram post.
In the footage, people can be heard counting down from 10 before the crowd cheers amid fireworks and confetti. Lawrence, 44, and Chilli, 53, also share a quick peck for the camera.
“HAPPY NEW YEAR!! 🎊 Hoping 2025 brings many blessings to everyone 🙌🏼#ny#2025#newyearsrockineve,” actor Lawrence wrote in a caption to his post, on which his musicial girlfriend commented, “🙌🏽❤️.”
Lawrence and Chilli made their romance Instagram official in 2022, and the singer’s longtime rep Christal Jordan confirmed her client was dating theBoy Meets Worldalum in January 2023 in a statement to PEOPLE, saying, “I’ve been with Chilli since 2005 and I’ve never seen her this in love.”
In an interview withEntertainment Tonightthat March, Lawrence sharedhow he and the singer met— namely, thanks to a big snowstorm that brought them together on the same flight.
“Really, it was the flight talking, and then afterward saying, ‘Hey, you know what? Let’s keep in contact,’ and it almost did not happen,” the actor said.

“Idon’t have any fear at allwhen it comes to him,” she told hostPortia Brunerof the formerBrotherly Lovestar, during the May 13 episode of Bruner’s show.
“It is just the way he is as a man, you know?” Chilli continued of Lawrence. “He is a good guy. He has an amazing heart and I mean, he checks off all of my list — except for a few I don’t know yet — but we’ll figure that part out.”
