Chloe x Halleare going solo — on Instagram.
The Bailey sisters announced on Tuesday that after nine years of sharing a joint account, it’s time to change their social media presence.
“Obviously, we are in two separate places right now,” Halle said of their locations in theirannouncement post. “No matter the distance, we’re still together.”
Chloe, 22, and Halle, 20, promise that they are “still an ocean even when we are two seas.” Indeed they are, having released two studio albums while simultaneously starring as twins in ABC’s hit seriesGrown-ish.
Even though they’re apart for now, the two appear to be enjoying the process of building their Instagram profiles.
Chloe made hersolo Instagram debutwith a steamy selfie, which she captioned, “Bite me.” Her next solo shot pictured her in a revealing, cut-out dress. “Hi my name is Chloe,” the actress wrote. “Nice to meet you 😇.”
Chloe x Halle have some incredible performances under their belt, including a powerful rendition of the national anthem to kick off the NFL season, in which they brought attention to the Black Lives Matter movement. Super Bowl LV airs live on Sunday, Feb. 7.
