Chris Appletonhas filed for divorce fromLukas Gageafter almost seven months of marriage.
Appleton, who is a hairstylist to the stars — namelyKim Kardashian—married Gage in a Las Vegas ceremonyon April 22 with Kardashian officiating.
“Ring finger where the rock is,” theWhite Lotusstar, 28, captioned a series ofphotoson Instagram showing the couple exchanging vows earlier this year.
The final video in the Instagram carousel featured the newlyweds, who stayed at the Wynn luxury hotel and casino, standing with champagne glasses on a stage asShania Twainserenaded them to her hit “You’re Still the One.”

Their Vegas nuptials, including a behind-the-scenes look at how it came together, just appeared in last week’s episode ofThe Kardashianson Hulu. Appleton even revealed that his engagement ring from Gage was made from the caviar tin that they shared on their first date.
The episode also captures the moment when he asks Kardashian to officiate the wedding, which she makes a joke about since she’s been married and divorced three times. She tells him, though, that she’s honored to be with him and Gage on their big day.
Over the past six months of marriage, Appleton and Gage have stepped out at a number of events together and evenrang in Appleton’s 40th birthdaywith a lavish boat trip in Turks and Caicos over the summer.
Appleton and Gage have not yet publicly addressed their split. Reps for each did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
