Just two days afterbeing released from police custodyin Paris, France,Chris Brownhas been active on Instagram, sharing some posts that allude to the rape allegation he is facing in the country.
He also wrote, “Its A WRAP!!!!” with the heart emoji.
The artistalso shared a screenshot of his clothing brand Black Pyramid’s Instagram accounton his story. It showed two different T-shirts, with the text “This Bitch Lyin'” written on them. It also advertised a Paris edition of the shirt with a picture of the Mona Lisa, the text instead reading, “That Bitch Lyin’.”
Since the accusation was made public, Brown has been posting videos from his dance rehearsals and screenshots of articles which have headlines about his release from custody.
On Tuesday,PEOPLE confirmedthat Brown was detained in Paris aftera woman filed a rape complaint with police.
“We confirm the detention in custody of Mr. Chris Brown and two other individuals on charges of aggravated rape and narcotics offenses. Police custody is still in progress,” the Paris Public Prosecutor’s office told PEOPLE in a statement. “The judicial action that will be given will not be communicated before the end of the custody.”
Later that day, the Grammy winnerdenied the claimsin a strongly worded Instagram post that he’s since deleted.

“I WANNA MAKE IT PERFECTLY CLEAR…… THIS IS FALSE AND A WHOLE LOT OF CAP [sic]!” Brown captioned a text image that read “This b!tch lyin’.”
His statement continued in the caption: “NNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEERRRRRR!!!!!! FOR MY DAUGHTER AND MY FAMILY THIS IS SO DISPRESPECTFUL [sic] AND IS AGAINST MY CHARACTER AND MORALS!!!!!”
The alleged rape is said to have occurred in Brown’s room at the Mandarin Oriental, which is a luxury hotel near Place Vendôme. The woman additionally claimed that Brown’s friend and his bodyguard also abused her.
Brown’s latest arrest follows a long string of run-ins with the law.
In 2009, Brown was sentenced to five years probation and 180 days of community labor afterpleading guilty to felony assaultfor beating then-girlfriendRihanna. Seven years later, he was arrestedon suspicionof assault with a deadly weapon (charges were never filed), and in 2017, his ex-girlfriend Karreuche Tran wasgranted a restraining order against him.
Then in May, an unidentified womanfiled a lawsuitagainst Brown and two others after she said she was allegedly held down and sexually assaulted in the singer’s home.
The woman claimed Brown held a party in his home on Feb. 23, 2017, in which his friend, Lowell Grissom Jr., also known as Young Lo, and an unnamed woman, “Doe X,” forcibly held her down and forced her to perform sexual acts.
She sued the trio for sexual battery, battery, assault and intentional infliction of emotional distress among other charges. Brown’s lawyerMark Geragos told TMZat the time, “None of these allegations are true. Nobody has done anything with this… there’s no case here. Chris is a target.”
Chris Brown’s reps have not responded to PEOPLE’s previous request for comment.
