He’s Politically Minded

Civic issues have been a major part of Evans' life since childhood: As a kid, his family frequently discussed the subject, and Evans grew up participating in campaigns for his uncle Michael Capuano, who served 10 years in Congress.
“There’s a lot of things you can do as an actor with your name,” Evans told PEOPLE about his motivations for launching A Starting Point in 2020. “I could be making booze — I don’t discourage anyone from doing that, I love booze — but there’s no denying that I played a certain character, and it just so happens to align with part of my nature in terms of being someone who is politically involved and who cares about the wellbeing of people in this country.”
His message as part of his Sexiest Man Alive cover story, which dropped the night before the 2022 midterm elections? “Go vote!”
