Hollywood is mourning the loss of Marvel mastermindStan Leewhodied at 95on Monday.

Ryan Reynolds, the actor behind Marvel’s Deadpool character, tweeted, “Damn… RIP Stan. Thanks for everything.”

Jamie Chung, who voiced aBig Hero 6 The Seriescharacter alongside Lee, celebrated Lee’s civil justice work. “He spoke up against injustices through his stories; where good prevails over evil,” she wrote. “It was an honor working for you.”

Iron Fistactress Rosario Dawson shared that she felt, “Overwhelmed with love and gratitude for the late, great hero, Stan Lee.”

Captain America himself,Chris Evans, lamented, “There will never be another Stan Lee. For decades he provided both young and old with adventure, escape, comfort, confidence, inspiration, strength, friendship and joy. He exuded love and kindness and will leave an indelible mark on so, so, so many lives. Excelsior!!”

Chris Pratt, who appeared in theGuardians of the GalaxyandAvengersfranchises as Star-Lord, thanked Lee for “everything.” “What a life, so well lived,” Pratt wrote on Instagram. “I consider myself extraordinarily lucky to have gotten to meet you and to have played in the world you created.”

WolverinestarHugh Jackmanalso shared a tribute on Monday.

“We’ve lost a creative genius,” the actor tweeted. “Stan Lee was a pioneering force in the superhero universe. I’m proud to have been a small part of his legacy and …. to have helped bring one of his characters to life. #StanLee #Wolverine”

Producer Kevin Feige praised Lee’s impact on this career.

Disney, which acquired Marvel Entertainment in 2009, praised Lee’s “extraordinary character.”

Even stars who aren’t tied to the Marvel universe felt Lee’s loss. Seth Rogen also appreciated Lee’s inclusivity, writing, “Thank you Stan Lee for making people who feel different realize they are special.”

Dwayne Johnson thanked Lee for welcoming him when he first came to Hollywood and called the comics writer and editor “my friend.”

“We lost a good one,” Johnson wrote. “What a man and what a life. Marvel’s original superhero and co-creator of IRON MAN, SPIDER-MAN, THE HULK, X-MEN etc. When I first broke into Hollywood, years ago he was so warm and welcoming to me – I’ll never forget it. He gave me very sage advice on navigating a career, that I’ll always carry. What a life he’s lived and how awesome that his imagination and universe creation impacted generations around the world. And for generations to come. Rest in love, my friend.”
