Captain America has a bone to pick with Canada.
It appears no one is less of a fan ofChris Evans’ mustache than Chris Evans himself, as the actor hilariously trolled Entertainment Tonight Canada after it tweeted out a photo of the star sporting the facial hair.
“This is clearly an act of aggression. There are literally hundreds of photos to choose from,” Evans, 37, wrote on Twitter Tuesday. “What did I ever do to you, Canada?”
The actor’s Marvel costar Tessa Thompson seemed to agree, as shechimed in: “This is rude.”
The Good Wifeactor Josh Charles, meanwhile, saw the funny side, simplywriting, “Haaaaaaaaa.”
Netflix Canada even weighed in to try and make amends, sharing a thread of “hotChris Evansphotos” on Twitter “on behalf of all Canadians.”

He starred in Kenneth Lonergan’s play from March to May of 2018 – and though the mustache only stuck around for his tenure in the show, itcaused quite a stir.
“People don’t recognize me at all. I can look them right in the eye – it’s like I’m invisible,” Evans told theNew York Timesin March.
ET Canadalater clarified that the offending image was all their photo service had provided, and asked the star to send them a selfie they could use instead.
Avengers: Endgame, the fourth installment of the superhero franchise, is due out in April.
Evans has hinted that it’ll be his final go-round playing Captain America, who he’s portrayed since 2011.
“Officially wrapped onAvengers 4.It was an emotional day to say the least,” he wrote on Twitter in October. “Playing this role over the last 8 years has been an honor. To everyone in front of the camera, behind the camera, and in the audience, thank you for the memories! Eternally grateful.”
