Chris HemsworthandElsa Patakycelebrated the arrival of 2024 in wintry style!
Spanish model and actress Pataky, 47, shared a series of snaps of her family’s recent ski vacation with a group — which also includedMatt Damonand his wifeLuciana Barroso— as well as New Year’s Eve celebrations in the mountains.
“New Years at the snow with my love ones. Happy New Year to all of you,” she captionedthe carousel,also sharing the words in her native Spanish.
The first image shared showed the couple — whowed in 2010and sharedaughter India Rose, 11, and nine-year-old twin boys Sasha and Tristan— in full ski gear.
Another snap showed the happy pair embracing in matching red outfits while further pictures showed a group of kids from the vacation enjoying the idyllic-looking vacation with card games, as well as an excited-looking Pataky and friends caught mid-cheer as fireworks exploded behind them.
One fun photo from the actress’s carousel even revealed that Hemsworth and Pataky’s friends, Damon and Barroso had joined them during their trip over the New Year. In the pic, the group posed next to a building outside, with the snowy mountains creating a picturesque backdrop behind them.
Another fun photo also showed a large group posing on a slope, including Hemsworth, Pataky and what appeared to be their three children amongst the youngsters within the crew, all decked out in gear for the winter sport. The actress was all smiles in another shot with what appeared to be her daughter India, as well as another child, as the trio sat in the snow and posed for the shot.

The family’s winter vacation coincided with Australian actor Hemsworth, 40, sharing a motivational message with his 58.6 Million Instagram followers.
“Happy new year everyone. As I sit here starting 2024 with my family and friends, it really got me to thinking about the new year, new me mentality that makes the rounds on social media. I have some thoughts,” Hemsworth said over a series of clips that show him working out and practicing sports.
“Flipping the switch on yourself when the calendar changes is never going to be a sustainable way to achieve your goals,” he continued.
He then went on to challenge his followers to make “one small change,” in 2024, promising he’ll be “right there with them” as they do.
Back in Dad mode, the actor told PEOPLE in 2017 thatone of his biggest goals as a fatheris to teach his children “to have a great appreciation for everything” in life.
“As a kid, we had very little money, and my parents saved up all year to just pay for a two-week camping vacation,” he explained of his childhood.
“Financially, we’re in a different position, but I want to make sure they know these things don’t come easy. You have to work for it, and you can’t take it for granted.”

He added that he hoped to instill in them the idea that “success is more about the values we have and the type of people we are rather than the material objects that we might obtain.”
