Patrick Schwarzenegger’s family is celebrating his happy holiday news!
Shriver, 68, posted a message onInstagram, writing that she is “beyond excited” for the couple and their future together.
The former first lady of California also left a comment on her son’s engagement post. “Yippee bravo we are all so happy for you for your love for your now for your future your love is inspiring joy joy joy ❤️,” she wrote.
Katherine, 34, reshared a photo from her brother and future sister-in-law’s engagement shoot on her Instagram Stories, writing, “Joy joy joy I love them both so much.”

Patrick and Champion revealed their engagement in a joint post that featured a series of photos from what appeared to be a beach proposal.
In one of the shots, Patrick kissed the model, 26, sweetly on the cheek, while she held her hand against her chest, displaying her double-diamond engagement ring. A second photo showed the couple kissing while standing in the sand behind a large heart-shaped arrangement of red roses. In another image, they shared a glimpse of a celebratory cake decorated with a photo of the pair.
“💍❤️FOREVER AND EVER ❤️💍,” they captioned the images.
Patrick later added a post on his Instagram Stories, declaring that “she said yes.”

The couple, who has been dating since 2015, have shared a few rare insights into their relationship over the years.
In a touching 25th birthday tribute to Champion last year, he wrote onInstagram, “I love this girl so much,” before listing some of her special qualities that endeared her to him. “Such a hard worker. So beautiful. Faithful. Drinks 2 cups of coffee! Loves ice cream. Loves her sugary cocktails. Loves Jesus & America too,” he wrote.
Champion returned the favor in September 2022 when Patrick turned 29, posting a short but sweet tribute to him onInstagram. “Happy birthday patch @patrickschwarzenegger. Love you so much 🤍,” she wrote.
