On Thursday, theGuardians of the Galaxyactor, who is also an avid farmer, revealed that a new member of his farm was born — the first of 2019.

“I think we’ll call him Cupid. ♥️” the actor shared, as a nod to the little lamb’s Valentine’s Day birthdate.

“Good job Mamma!” he added, before finishing with the hashtags “#farmlife #WeBeLambin’ #lambingseason2019”

Pratt, who recently got engaged toKatherine Schwarzenegger, regularly posts photos and videos of his farm animals, including chickens and their eggs, lambs, and even a Texas longhorn.

“That’s right, fresh farm to table lamb,”he said on Instagram. “They are the happiest lambs on the planet,” he added, before going into detail about his butcher’s process — and apologizing to vegetarians who might find the post insensitive. (He doesgrow fruits and vegetables, too.)

Pratt thenfollowed up with a photo of all the meatharvested from the lambs and assured his followers that the animal “lived a very good life.”

“No stressful travel to his final destination. Trauma Free,” Pratt continued. “Just a touch of a usda certified wand to his head and he goes to sleep. The other sheep don’t even notice. It’s like unplugging a tv.”

The actor revealed that after his butcher “works his magic” he shares the wealth with his friends and family. Pratt also wrote that he may open up shop so his followers can enjoy the fruits of his labor but he’s “gotta get some things dialed in first.”

“I have found a new passion to add to my many others. #farmlife and jack loves it!” he finished, referencing his 6-year-oldson Jack(whom he shares with ex-wifeAnna Faris). “You’ll know where to sprinkle my ashes. I’ll tell you that.”

Most recently, Pratt shared in January that one of his ewes won a prize for her wool at the Washington State University Country Living Expo in Stanwood, Washington.

“I hate when celebrities brag on here…” hestarted his post, “but I have to. Our ewe (female sheep) named ‘Cacao’ just took home a blue ribbon at Fiberpalooza!!!! Boom chic-Cacao cao!”

Aside from farming, Pratt has been focusing on his upcoming marriage to Schwarzenegger, 29.

The couple firstannounced their engagementin January, following a whirlwind romance that saw themfall for each other over the summer. Though the pair — who met through Katherine’s mother,Maria Shriver— have only been together since June, things heated up rather quickly.

A source previously told PEOPLE that the couple hasmoved in togetherin West Los Angeles.

“For someone on the outside, it might seem their engagement came too quickly,” asource told PEOPLE. “But for everyone close to them, it feels like they have been dating much longer than they actually have.”
