Chris Rockbrought the laughs toSaturday Night Live— with a little help fromAdam Sandler.
At one point, the previously covered patient sits up, revealing themselves to be Sandler, 58. As he speaks with the medical staff about the mix up, blood begins shooting out of his body, covering the doctors from head to toe.
Rock and his longtime friend Sandler starred onSNLtogether in the 1990s. In the years since, they have costarred in multiple movies together, including 2005’sThe Longest Yard, 2010’sGrown-Ups2013’sGrown-Ups 2and 2018’sThe Week Of.

Elsewhere during the show, Rock took part in various sketches, including one in which hegoes on a blind dateand another where heportrays an elf at a shopping mall amid the holiday season.

Ashley Padilla, Emil Wakim and Jane Wickline have been added to the sketch comedy show’s roster, whilePunkie Johnson, Chloe Troast and Molly Kearney have all stepped away. Returning cast membersMarcello Hernandez, Michael Longfellow andDevon Walker, meanwhile, were promoted to the main cast after two years each as featured players.
Michael Che,Colin Jost, James Austin Johnson,Bowen Yang, Mikey Day, Andrew Dismukes,Chloe Fineman,Heidi Gardner,Ego Nwodim, Sarah Sherman andKenan Thompsonround out the remainder of the cast.
